Sleep- Make Sleep A Sacred Practice
The Sacred Sleep workshop will benefit anyone who would like to increase their ability to sleep deeply and soundly. Most adults find that trying to sleep only makes falling asleep, or staying asleep, even more difficult! We quickly learn that sleep is the one area of life which we absolutely cannot control. We must find a way to allow sleep to emerge. One scientifically proven way to enhance our ability to sleep is through spending more time in Nature, or at least outside in natural environments. Another method is by introducing or increasing meditation, or states of quiet reflection and prayer. And a third has recently been shown to be finding meaning, or purpose in one's life, which correlates with better sleep overall. What all 3 have in common is what those who have found spirituality provides-daily quiet reflection with the Divine, experiencing Spirit in the natural world and establishing a purpose greater than oneself. This workshop will provide practices and rituals to elicit deeper sleep through these established methods. Times are arranged to meet your schedule and frequency of sessions.
