Qigong F.I.T. Group Class
This workout will promote flexibility, strength, coordination and relaxation. We warm up with an Internal and External Qi to set our principles of movement by focusing on relaxation, reduction of anxiety and songing (loosening) of joints. The following sequences include flexibility, balance, coordination (TaiChi), muscular skeletal mobility (Spinal Health), strength, and cardiovascular, pulling it all together with the 8 Brocades then ending with reflection relaxation. This routine can be done separately or together. **********USER TESTIMONIALS ********** "I have been taking Tai Chi classes with Heidi since she received her certification in fall 2019. Heidi takes the time to inaugurate new students to her classes according to their abilities and any physical conditions that might require them to modify certain positions. I have personally progressed in my knowledge of Tai Chi and Qi Gong while participating in Heidi’s classes and look forward to expanding my knowledge within other areas of instruction. I highly recommend Heidi as an instructor." - Gloria "I’ve been taking t’ai chi and qi gong classes from Heidi off and on since 2020. I’ve found her to be a great facilitator. Her routines are well thought out and effective. By offering a Zoom option, she makes a space for people with limited mobility options such as myself. I plan to continue with her for the foreseeable future." - Jayne "Ms. Gillis instructs technically sound classes, fosters engagement with her participants, and includes an educational component within her class when appropriate. She is very reliable and dependable and a highly valued instructor to our program." - Kathleen Zumbar Millennium Enterprises
